COCOA, FL, UNITED STATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Court Reporting Academy (TCRA), a training provider for court reporting professionals, today announced a partnership with CAPTUR — The Council for the Advancement of Professionals, Technology, and Unbiased Reporting, the newly formed association created through the merger of the American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers (AAERT) and the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting (STAR) — to help working digital court reporters prepare for and pass the AAERT Certified Electronic Reporter (CER) exam.
Through the partnership, TCRA is offering its Prepare to Pass course — a $195 value — at no cost to qualified digital court reporters who register and complete the course by October 15, 2026. Reporters who finish the course by that date will also receive a code for 10% off the AAERT CER exam, provided they schedule and sit for the exam by October 31, 2026.
The initiative arrives as certification requirements for digital court reporters continue to expand nationally. A growing number of court reporting agencies — and certain states — now require digital reporters to hold a valid AAERT CER credential to work in the field.
